Dell XPS 730x Core i7 Gaming PC
December 24, 2008 – 9:41 am | by SteveThe new XPS 730x is surely a technology wonder. The Intel Core 2 processors and NIVIDIA 790i Ultra SLI chipset powering the original XPS 730 have been substituted with the new Intel Core i7 processors and Intel’s X58 Express chip-set. However, the XPS 730x hangs on to the original 730′s ability to support both Crossfire and SLI and the latest graphics option.
Like all XPS 700 series that we know…since XPS 710, XPS 730x is available with facory over-locking and a H2C edition that features a two stage liquid system. This particular aspects gives an edge to XPS 730x over the rest in line in terms of performance and technology.
While the new performance features are highlighted, the chassis of XPS 730x is also updated and has been brought in competition with HP’s Blackbird 002. The new XPS 730x offers configurable LED lighting but is controlled by Alienware’s slick AlienFX utility.
It also includes custom monitoring utility that makes monitoring system temperatures and controlling fan much more easier. With such an update, Dell have really proved that they have improved the hardware and performance monitoring in the new XPS 730x.
In all, there are enough updates and new features installed in the latest XPS 730x which makes it stand out significantly among the rest competing it.
