Google Enterprise President Dave Girouard says Office 365 is a replication of a number of Microsoft’s previous applications and by labeling it with a tricky new name they want to make it a good sell.

“It’s one big filibuster,” were his choice of words.

Comments from Girouard could be the reaction to the fact that Google was not among the guests lists to bid on the deal at New York. Google refuse to see it as a viable success.

Girouard seems in no doubt when he claims that this venture will remain stagnant and wont make any progress. Microsoft will still be selling the same upgraded applications.

Although he did accept that Google has seen an increase in the calls for the selling of Microsoft products. Microsoft is often seen to have influenced companies otherwise making a deal with Google to opt for Microsoft instead by putting in bribes like concessions or other inducements. though this scheme didn’t go in the favour of Microsoft as it failed to bring any damage to Google.

He further added that Google has a 90% maintenance rate, which is not due to a confinement. He said that to aid those enterprise who want to exchange, Google has a group; the Data Liberation Front which explains and assists those who want to move data in and out of Google products.

The email generated by the Microsoft Office Customer Programs Team has not given exact dates for the testers to participate in the venture. But still it is being understood that the testers will be given a chance to carry out the task ahead of 2011. Then the testers will be sent a formal and final invitation.

The email also specified that in order to participate in the testing, the tester is the user of Office 2010 or SharePoint 2010. In addition to this, they would have to complete a survey to confirm a position for testing.

The users of new Microsoft Office 2011 and Apple Mac also encountered the most talked after ribbon interface introduced with Microsoft office 2007. Microsoft Windows 8 will be released in 2012; earlier in June it was just a speculation but this time this news comes from the very core of Microsoft house. The Dutch Microsoft website blew the whistle and now we have to wait for Windows 8 for another two years. But Microsoft pulled out this news from the Dutch site soon after it was published on the celebration of Windows 7`s first anniversary. Microsoft Windows 8 has been termed as a major release by Microsoft itself and Microsoft plans to come up with Windows app store just like Mac Apple Store.
